5/21/13 - Our favorite part of Universal Studios was the Curious George play area...such a blast! 5/22/13 - What do you do on a rainy afternoon, well catch water in cups and chase ducks of course! 5/23/13 - Afternoon at the lake 5/24/13 - Day at Disney (family picture at Hollywood Studios) 5/25/13 - Blueberry picking 5/26/13 - Sleepover with cousins! 5/27/13 - Our TWIN nephews, Owen and Anson...Can you tell them apart?  I hardly can unless I see them together!

5/14/13 - It's that time of year for sidewalk chalk and bubbles...one of our favorite afternoon activities! 5/15/13 - May 15th marks our 6 year dating anniversary. This time 6 six years ago we were off on our first date together and couldn't have been more excited about our future together! Today we are so thankful for the many years together and hope for many more. 5/16/13 - Steve and Matt enjoying a brew and the sunset together.  We are sad to see our friends/neighbors, Matt and Lyra, leaving in a week and so trying to enjoy as much time with them before they leave Florida.  Matt has been a good friend to Steve and we are going to miss that family so much! 5/17/13 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT LALA! A good portion of my time these days I can be found nestled into the seat of an airplane listening to how to quickly and calmly exit the aircraft through the clearly marked exits in the case of an emergency landing. In a matter of minutes after the important safety briefing I have already forgotten what doors not to use in the event of a water landing and I turn to one of the limited activities that can be done while wedged between the person sitting next to me and the side of the aircraft. Most of the time I will open a book or listen to some class lectures, but when all else fails I like to plug my headphones in and listen to channel 9. Do you know about channel 9? On United flights, channel 9 is the station that allows you to listen in to communication between your plane, surrounding planes and the various air traffic control towers. 5/7/13 - Karis loves story time at the library, lately she has shown that she can lead the class too ;) Crackin me up! 5/8/13 - Isaac lovin on his teddy bear 5/9/13 - After our ladies Bible study at church this week, my friend Traci watched my kiddos together with her daughter while her husband and I practiced music for Sunday. She's pretty much super mom! And by the way, this table is an amazing invention. 5/10/13 - Isaac's first bloody nose, well first bloody nose of either child for us! He just fell on the ground in the house {carpet floor} but he was fine and smiling minutes later :) 5/11/13 - Since I would be up early on Sunday morning for worship team at church, Steve made Saturday my mother's day. He let me sleep in till 8am ~ which for those who know how early my kids rise, this was so refreshing! 4/30/13 - Can you tell these two LOVE each other?  Totally melts my heart. 5/1/13 - What else do you do when it's been rainy for a few days? Go outside and play in the puddles of course!  My kids get a little stir crazy {as does mama} when they don't get outside and play for a little bit each day.  When it starts raining every day like this, we just have puddles all over. Eh, so what that I ruined Isaac's shirt, we all had fun! 5/2/13 - This is my view on most days minus the pitiful face, Isaac reaching up to be picked up.  He loves to be held and snuggled and I don't mind holding and snuggling! PS. I don't usually take pictures of my children crying like this, but when I pulled the camera off the counter to take a picture of his sweet face that said, "mama pick me up" he suddenly turned into a cry face as to say, "mama seriously stop taking my picture, I just want to snuggle, this is no time for pictures!"   5/3/13 - More fun acti...

Just because I like looking at the kiddos at similar ages, in similar poses... Karis - around 13 months old on a trip to the beach Isaac - around 14 months old on a trip to the beach LOVE these two beach babies!  Definitely similar in looks, yet still very different!  Both of their sweet smiles light up our days!   Thankful for them.

4/23/13 - Uncle Jon {my eldest brother} flew into town for the week to attend Exponential church planting conference. Isaac adored Jon and each time Jon sat down, Isaac would plead with him and give him a look that Jon couldn't resist and pick him up.  We thought it also helped Jon in his weight loss efforts because Isaac would want to eat his food too ;) 4/24/13 - Wednesday play dates...we love these two kiddos {Desmond and Sophie} and thankful for sweet neighbors and friends!
