Steve and Jenny Valentine

So she turned two months old yesterday, which means I finally have had time to upload some "official" newborn pictures of our sweetie! My ever so talented sister in law took some of the most adorable pictures of our littlest princess when she was just a couple weeks old...enjoy! the three cuties. sister love Lauren caught her first smile on camera! one of our favorite pics when I first saw this picture I thought, "Man we look tired!" Ha, life with a newborn. The next few just show you what it's like to do newborn pics and attempt to have the other toddler siblings involved!   But we did end up getting a GREAT one of the three kiddos!

I have this habit of starting blogs and never finishing them to post...this seems to be the story of my life right now in most areas!  I keep thinking it'll get better...but the more children we have it seems to make protecting time for myself (and the things I enjoy doing) a little bit more difficult.  Anyway, this is one of those blogs I started a while ago and things got crazy...and we had a child ;)  So here it is... My ever so talented sister in law, Lauren, has taken up photography as a hobby (and doing a fabulous job I might add!)  We asked her to take our family picture for our Valentine's day card knowing she would be super silly in order to get Karis to laugh and smile...mission accomplished!  daddy's girl The family picture we chose to use for our yearly Valentine letter I love this picture...it shows in picture how Karis is right now in life...always 10 steps ahead of mommy!  Our busy girl :) ...

Well I posted her 10 month blog a while back but wasn't able to upload pictures...maybe our internet speed will cooperate this time! LOVES her cookies Now that she pulls up often...she enjoys looking out her bedroom window at the pond behind our house her cute little smirk 10 month old she is one happy 10 month old holding her bunny in daddy's arms playing with toys ate her cookie, then put her hands on her head like this, cookie mess everywhere! Well since I wasn't able to upload any pictures in my last post, I figured I'd give it one more go... side shot for you to see her little 'rat tail' that we cut off  playing around happy to be in MN Enjoying time with Grandma...can ya tell?! introducing her to The Cheesecake Factory she was so good on this trip and all smiles during the day something about having her mouth wide open reminds me of someone ;) Helping uncle Dave learn how to use his new resistence bands Loves her Grandma! She had a blast with Uncle Dave Playing with her cousins, Sarah and Abigail me and my brothers (Jon, Dave, Danny) and niece Sarah Being the oldest of four, Sarah is used to being a big helper...she was making sure Karis stayed in the nursery at church!
