365 : WEEK 19

5/7/13 - Karis loves story time at the library, lately she has shown that she can lead the class too ;) Crackin me up!
5/8/13 - Isaac lovin on his teddy bear
5/9/13 - After our ladies Bible study at church this week, my friend Traci watched my kiddos together with her daughter while her husband and I practiced music for Sunday. She's pretty much super mom! And by the way, this table is an amazing invention.
5/10/13 - Isaac's first bloody nose, well first bloody nose of either child for us! He just fell on the ground in the house {carpet floor} but he was fine and smiling minutes later :)

5/11/13 - Since I would be up early on Sunday morning for worship team at church, Steve made Saturday my mother's day. He let me sleep in till 8am ~ which for those who know how early my kids rise, this was so refreshing! In order to keep it quiet so I would actually sleep in, he took the kids for a run in the stroller and then went to get donuts for me and the kids, along with sweet cards and flowers. I woke up to this, so sweet, and got a my actual gift {which was a necklace} later on that day.
5/12/13 - Yea, so this was our best attempt at a picture with me and the two kiddos on mother's day morning!

5/13/13 - Rob to the rescue! Steve left for a work trip on Sunday evening and is out of town till Tuesday evening. This particular morning as I was out running errands, low and behold I got a flat tire.  Having two little ones in tow and a gimp hip, I wasn't about to attempt changing this on my own! My brother in law just so happened to be in the area and came to help change the tire. I was smart enough to have packed the kiddo's lunches and we got the tire changed and fixed at discount tire with no fussy kids, impressive. Thanks Rob, BEST brother in law I could ever have {yea, yea even if you're the only brother in law I have, you're still the BEST!}

Adding to the Family!

Sitting down to write this blog post has been a long time coming (well at least 20 weeks or so!) But we are excited to announce that we are expecting our fourth child! Below, you will see some pictures highlighting parts of this pregnancy so far and also I talk about the name we have chosen for our little guy. Enjoy! I'm starting with this picture, because this little guy (left) pictured here with our son Isaac, I like to say is the reason we are having another baby, haha! Isaac has been smitten with this little one since he first held him as a baby two years ago and he began praying we would have another baby, specifically a boy! It's such a neat part of this story to me and I'm so thankful for our son's heart ( and friends who have cute kiddos!) This was taken right after we told the kids I was pregnant. Dear Grandma...

Today is my grandmother's birthday. This is a big deal. Today she celebrates 93 full and amazing years here on earth. My grandma is a special lady (more on that in a minute) and the only grandparent I ever knew (long story for another time). I often think it's amazing that my kids get to know all four of their grandparents, and we cherish the moments when we are all together. The past couple of years have been a bit up and down for my grandma in regard to her health and honestly I hate being across the world during this time and also a bit envious when my brothers and cousins get to visit her when they are able (so all y'all give her a hug when you see her next for me!) It's never easy being apart from family, but especially when one is ill. So I write, because it's what I can do...no she's not going to be on Facebook reading the link to our blog, but I know my mom will gladly call her and read this to her. Surprise Arrival!

This is a long post. But many of you have asked about the story of Milo's arrival. So I wanted to take time to write it out, details and all. But  for those who don't want to read the entire story with all the details, feel free to scroll through and just look at the pictures! A lot of you were shocked to hear of his arrival...so were we! (After all, we were still 25 days out from his due date when he made his appearance). I had just gone to my 36 week checkup two days prior, all was healthy and well with baby and with me and there were no signs of early labor. At that appointment, the doctor said that I was 1 cm dilated, but honesty I knew I could be at that for several weeks before seeing any progress to labor.
