Steve and Jenny Valentine

Karis turned 3 in August and Isaac turned 18 months old.  I will {hopefully} have a post for them individually soon, but until then, here are some of our favorites from the photoshoot! those eyes we love that they love each other so much, such a blessing! And a family picture too!

I think a lot of people I know would say they are grateful.  I've been that person, and most of the time I would say yes in fact I am grateful.  But lately I've found myself REALLY enjoying many moments/things/people for which I am thankful that God has blessed me with...my kids especially.  Seriously, I've had those "stop me in my tracks, smile real big and say a prayer of thanks to God" in several moments of being with my kiddos over the past several weeks - even in the middle of a store, shopping, which usually brings a lot more tension than joy with two tiny tots in tow who are prone to whine or beg for things at the drop of a hat! It's here in that moment when my daughter grabs two shampoo bottles off the shelf and sticks them to her cheeks and says, "look mom I'm being silly!" that I find myself laughing instead of being annoyed and that I agree and say "yes baby you are and I love you!" {Thank you Lord for this sweet blessing} My...

This should wrap up my marathon posting for today, enjoy weeks 40 and 41 in pictures... WEEK 40: 10/1/13 - Sure it's October 1st...who doesn't pull out the Nativity set and play with it?! 10/2/13 - park play time with friends Piper and Cannon 10/3/13 - One happy couple! We had the opportunity to drive to Destin, Florida to celebrate with Brooke and Matt as they married on Friday. 10/4/13 - Steve officiated Matt and Brooke's wedding on the beach, very beautiful! 10/5/13 - on our drive home from Destin, we stopped by Seaside, Florida - where we honeymooned just over 5 years ago, fun to be back there even just to drive through! 10/6/13 - 18 weeks pregnant and growing! 10/7/13 - We had the opportunity to fly and visit Poland. WEEK 38: 9/17/13 - Traci and kiddos were over today to hang out. Sure we have a pack n play, bouncer or swing he could have slept in, but this was just way more practical! 9/18/13 - Fun afternoon playtime includes: music, tutus/dancing and blocks 9/19/13 - Fun playtime at the pool 9/20/13 - Karis putting on a show at our friend's house 9/21/13 - coloring with markers and stickers, one thing sure to make this girl happy for an hour (at least) 9/22/13 - 16 weeks pregnant (looking really tired!) 9/23/13 - Jenny watching the twins (our nephews Owen and Anson) while Lauren took their big sisters for haircuts. Finally taking time to sit down and update our 365 picture project, enjoy weeks 36 and 37 in this post!
