June 3 - Some days it feels like we spend all our time at the doctor's office. In fact this week, we had three doctor visits for three different family members! And although this can be discouraging, we take heart in knowing God is in it all. Olivia (here) had to go because her ear drum ruptured (again) and after a visit to the pediatrician and ENT specialist, she was put on some medication to help heal her ear drum. After our follow up appointment a few days later, it was COMPLETELY healed! As amazing as the doctor seemed to think this was, we knew full well that the Lord had been at work and is to be credited for healing her. June 4 - A fun afternoon with friends from PIC and these three boys are just pure trouble...I mean joy! They are all the same age (within a few months of the other) and it's always fun to see them play together. We are thankful Isaac has some buddies his age. May 20 - We got to join Isaac on his class field trip. It was fun to be with all these little kiddos and we were amazed at how much they walked without whining (all of them!) Olivia got to join us as well and she had fun being a part of Isaac's class for the day. Also, it was funny to converse with the kids (as they all speak only Polish) and we could understand a lot of what the kids said, which tells you about how much more we have to learn as we study this hard language! May 21 - It's not often we get to go on a date, so when some sweet friends called us up and offered to watch our kids, we jumped at the opportunity to go out for a short time. A short bike ride over to a small cafe nearby was just what we needed! May 22 - Poznan International Church puts on two plays a year and it's been fun to watch people from so many different cultures come together and perform together to proclaim the name of Jesus. May 6 - Isaac's school was learning about Polish holidays during the past several weeks and to our surprise, his teacher asked us to come and speak to Isaac's class about America. They thought it would be good for his friends in class to hear more about where Isaac came from. It was such an honor to be able to share and Isaac was thrilled (can't you tell from his smile!). His two teachers are amazing, and we love that they love on him (and all the others) so well.  May 7 - When you're walking in the store and this blue word catches your eye! Well hello Minnesota apparel in Poland, you sure caught me off guard. Sad to say this Minnesota-raised gal did not buy the shirt. May 8 - We enjoyed a fun week with our friend James visiting us. James became a quick friend to us when we first moved here and has since moved to another city in Poland (before his return back to America). We are thankful for the time we got to spend with him during his week back in town.  ...
