Steve and Jenny Valentine

12/24/13 - Family Picture on Christmas Eve 12/25/13 - Happy kiddos on Christmas morning 12/26/13 - The crib is now set up in sissy's room in preparation for baby girl and this is how we found Karis' baby doll after nap time (tucked in with all the favorite lovies) 12/27/13 - Karis beating Grammy at the Candy land game 12/28/13 - Karis and Isaac have enjoyed some new toys (as well as enjoying each others toys) 12/29/13 - Taken during Daddy's last work trip out of town for the year. 12/30/13 - Surprise visit from Jenny's dad. Steve organized him coming in for a surprise visit for Jenny's birthday. (Look at that large baby belly, whew!) 12/31/13 - Celebrating Jenny's 30th birthday...Such a blessed day. Glad to have had the opportunity to capture each day this year by camera and thankful for the many, many blessings the Lord has bestowed on us. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

He truly reflects the meaning of his name, "he will laugh, brings laughter".  Only the Lord could have known that as we decided on a name for him over two years ago.  18-22 months has probably been my favorite age.  I have often told people, I really don't remember it being this fun when Karis was this age (maybe for the fact that I was surviving off little sleep with a newborn and trying to figure out how to parent her at the same time!)  There is a benefit I think in having this third child two years apart rather than 18 months.  Isaac has constantly kept us on our toes with each new thing he is into.  He is our gentl...

WEEK 50 12/10/13 - Coffee and a big cinnamon roll, Jenny very much enjoyed these by herself while some sweet friends took Karis and Isaac to Disney world for the day.  Yea it would have been fun to be with them, but it was a blast to have some alone time as well!  After some much needed quiet time, Jenny proceeded to shampooing the carpet. Yea that wasn't so relaxing, but we have clean carpets now and it was much easier to do without little tots under foot. 12/11/13 - Karis is a great helper and it was so fun to make our first sugar cookies of the Christmas season together.  She likes to help with everything and so it was especially enjoyable to teach her how to do something new.  We've come a long way from a couple years ago when she screamed her head off when we tried to get her to push the cookie cutter into the dough ;) 12/12/13 - Daddy left this day to go out of town for a few days and the kids are especially snuggly with him before and after he re...

11/26/13 -Isaac was one tired boy after our first flight in our trip to Dallas for Thanksgiving 11/27/13 - Visiting with Steve's Aunt Kathleen, Uncle Bill and cousin Ana while in Dallas 11/28/13 - Thanksgiving day with some of Steve's family 11/29/13 - Jenny and the kiddos at the Fort Worth Science museum...kids especially enjoyed the curious George exhibit 11/30/13 - Isaac feeding a cow at the Velhuizen Dairy farm. We had a blast touring their cheese shop and visiting with Steve's boss' family 12/1/13 - Had time to visit with several friends during our time in Dallas...great to catch up with the Dallalio family! 12/2/13 -  Our friend Joanna with Jenny and all the kiddos!
