Let's Recap {part one}
We went over our pictures from the past eight months and as promised, here is a recap of what life has looked like for us...of course this will not be exhaustive, there's really no way to encapsulate eight months worth of moments in one (or more) short blog post. Enjoy!
NOVEMBER was filled with pie making, commemorating Poland's independence, Silly moments with kiddos, new home workout program since our gym closed down and cold outside runs for Steve, Steve buying a new suit for a wedding he officiated (in December), a combined city-wide Evangelical service, creating our thankful tree for the month, welcoming friends from America (and Budapest) to celebrate Thanksgiving together with us (and trying to find a turkey to bake!), holiday markets in old town, our side street being paved and cute cafe visits.
DECEMBER brought our first snowfall of Winter, putting up holiday decorations, playing "astronaut" in the living room, holiday light up in the square, receiving fun packages from friends/family in America, Steve officiating some friends (here) wedding, sick children, end of the semester class Christmas parties, a big Christmas party with friends, baking Christmas cookies and making Christmas crafts, celebrating Jenny's 34th birthday and enjoyed a really loud firework show courtesy of ALL of our neighbors!
JANUARY had a little more sickness for all three kiddos at some level, visit to a friend's horse farm, renewing our Polish Driver's licenses, more fun packages from friends in America, snowfall that stuck, ballet fun with Olivia, completing a 1,000 piece puzzle as a family, a visit from our boss and a missionary friend serving in another city in Poland.
FEBRUARY is birthday month for our younger two, so in addition to all the birthday celebrations, we had family ninja parties, indoor activities to keep the little occupied since they couldn't be outside in the very cold weather, Karis really diving into her new found love for reading, celebrating the finishing of an intense HIIT workout program and seeing the results, ice skating for the first time with kids, visiting a local indoor water park on our holiday break and of course Valentine's day!
