POLAND 365 :: WEEK 14 & 15

April 8 - We have great neighbors. This couple has been a joy to get to know
and we are glad for their friendship and how they love on our kiddos too. Steve
often goes to their house for coffee and will on occasion take the kiddos with
him, Olivia (as you see) really enjoys their dog.
April 9 - You may wonder why we have a picture of a bare
(well nearly bare) tree...Spring, that's why. It's finally arrived
here in Poland and we couldn't be more excited! Buds are
popping out all over the place on trees and bushes and the
weather is finally warming up (sporadicly).
April 10 - Steve speaking with some visitors from the States at Poznan
International Church. It's a joy to have people come from the States and
be a part of the International Church and share encouragement to the
people of PIC.
April 11 - As you can see, potty training is in full
swing with our youngest, and it has become a
family affair! Haha.
April 12 - With Spring, comes rain and bugs. Our kids
get excited to play with the many snails in our yard,
and they are quite big as you can see next to our
daughters hand here!
April 13 - Bubbles make anyone's day better, right?
April 14 - Trying new recipes and enjoying
them on our Polish pottery plates.
April 15 - On our way home from the park, and Olivia
insisted on walking the whole way home...and made a
friend along the way. This little girl and her babcia
(grandma) followed us nearly the whole way home as
the little girl kept chatting with Olivia on the walk.
April 16 - A ladies gathering for Internationals and Poles where we could meet
new people, hear from God's Word and encourage and pray for each other.
April 17 - Not the best picture, but a group selfie with some friends from
Poland. The family (in back) are the parents of one of Karis' classmates
and we have enjoyed getting to know them and some of their other family
as well. Such sweet and welcoming friends.
April 18 - Car selfie with my three littles, just because. And no I'm not
driving when I took this!
April 19 - Our regional field director (boss man Dennis) has been in and out of
town throughout the past several weeks. Steve and Him together for meetings
on this particular day.
April 20 - We also got to have Dennis over to our house
to spend some time with our entire family. This is always
a fun time for our kids, they love Dennis and he jumps
right into our crazy, loud house without hesitation.
April 21 - Dennis also got to join us during a brunch that we had with
a family from PIC. As it turns out, this family we ate with this day owns
the flat (apartment) that we first stayed in upon arriving in Poznan. They
were so welcoming as we first got acquainted to Poland and we enjoy
spending time with them and their family whenever possible.
