365 : WEEK(s) 42 & 43

10/15/13 - This was on the airplane on our way home from Europe. This flight seemed so much longer than the one going there, but we were thankful to be home with our kiddos!

10/16/13 - We found out today that we are having another baby girl! We are thrilled to welcome another little girly into the family. Steve bought these flowers to celebrate the occasion! Baby girl's name to be determined...

10/17/13 - Bob (Steve's dad) did many projects for us while we were away and they were here watching the kiddos.  Bob likes to have a list of things we need done around the house whenever he comes into town, and I like that he is that way!  One thing he did was hang up Steve's old tie rack (seeing as Steve doesn't wear ties much these days, this rack wasn't being used)...so I wanted to use it for something...and I decided I could use it for scarves and necklaces. Although I haven't fully adorned it with all the scarves and necklaces (and somehow one of Karis' necklaces ended up on there!), I like having it up and easy access. Bob also fixed our garage door/opener while we were gone...HUGE BLESSING to us!

10/18/13 - Been home from Poland a few days and still trying to unpack

10/19/13 - Isaac likes dress up just as much as sissy...we just need more man outfits for him :)

10/20/13 - Apparently grandpa built some amazing forts too during his time here, so after being begged a while to build one, I made my best attempt!  Probably not as good as grandpa, but they were happy :)

10/21/13 - the day after we were home from Europe, Steve was off again for a work trip. This day was his 30th birthday.  Thankfully he came home on his birthday and we got to celebrate as a family. Karis was so thrilled to help bake the carrot cake for daddy!
 WEEK 43
10/22/13 - daddy took the day off after having been out of town. days off are great days for naps with Karis (haha sorry babe, I had to post this one!)

10/23/13 - enjoying an evening in our backyard watching the sunset. Isaac has an obsession with playing with long hair (especially Jenny's and Karis'). Here he is playing with sissy's hair and she was so kindly tolerating his head massage!

10/24/13 - playing in our hand me down sand table.  Perfect thing for the kiddos as they both love to dig!

10/25/13 - daddy's out of town again so we decided to have cousin Charlotte over for a sleepover.  Highlights of the evening: Charlotte being annoyed by "little brother" Isaac (haha just wait till next year Char when your two twin brothers are old enough to annoy you!) and another  highlight was Charlotte telling me that Karis wouldn't stop talking (after they had gone to bed) and so therefore she couldn't fall asleep, HA!  If you know Karis' mama, you know where she got her talkative genes from ;)  It was a great night, all kids slept and we hope to do it again soon!

10/26/13 - Jenny loves a deal. The kiddos needed some new shoes and pants (and we wanted a few new dresses for Karis) and so off to Once Upon a Child (baby resale store) we went. Found 4 dresses, 3 pair of shoes for Karis, 2 pair for Isaac, two pair of pants for Isaac and a couple bonus buys (computer and world map) that each child had been wanting.  If we would have paid full price for all these items, it would have been well over $100...Jenny scored it all for probably a third of the original prices!  We thank Jenny's mom for instilling a thrifty eye for deals :)

10/27/13 - Jenny at 21 weeks pregnant. No denying she's pregnant now...although people are still asking if she is! Haha, come on people, very flattering but let's be real!

10/28/13 - Another beautiful evening out in our backyard.  What you can't see (or hear) is Karis yelling across the pond to our friends and neighbors to get their attention...it was hilarious!
