365 : WEEK{s} 28 and 29

Again, another double week of pictures. It's been a crazy month for our family with sickness and ailments. We are thankful to {hopefully} be coming through to the end of this {for now}! So here are Weeks 28 and 29 in pics...

WEEK 28:

7/9/13 - Karis always wants to make sure her babies are fed, so she nurses them as she sees fit. Today she decided that they both should be nursed at the same time!

7/10/13 - Brother/Sister snuggles. These two really love each other and it's been so neat to watch their relationship grow together over the past few months.

7/11/13 - Karis can trace letters and has been doing so for a few months now. Today when we were outside playing with chalk she drew a H and said, "look mommy I drew an H all by myself"! Very impressed with our {almost} three year old!

7/12/13 - It's been raining a lot here in the afternoon time {which is usually when we'll venture outside to play} and so we've had to improvise with some indoor activities.

7/13/13 - Us at our friend {and Steve's co-worker} Joy's 30th birthday bash.

7/14/13 - Commissioning prayer for our friends Leah and Ryan as they head to the mission field. So neat to watch the church come around them to pray over their ministry.

7/15/13 - Fun morning pool playdate with Peter Daniel and his grammy {and our sweet Florida mommy, Christine}

 WEEK 29:

7/16/13 - They like to be silly together!

7/17/13 - Isaac has always been good at entertaining himself from a young age...probably because his sister was still much of a baby when he was born and needed lots of mommy attention still!  It's always cute to find him perched on the couch "reading" books by himself.

7/18/13 - Isaac has been changing a lot over the past few months. This is one of his new favorite toys and he feels so proud of himself when he masters putting the proper shapes in their matching holes.

7/19/13 - Sometimes you just need take out for dinner. Steve was busy with work this week {long hours into the night} and Jenny was sick with a sinus infection. Some friends gave us money to get food so we didn't have to cook after this very crazy week. Thankful for sweet friends!

7/20/13 - "Look, I'm a princess!" She is totally into dress up these days.

7/21/13 - Enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon.

 

7/22/13 - We tend to pull Isaac's crib away from the wall at times because he likes to pound on the wall when we first put him in his crib for bedtime. So Karis finds this to be a fun spot to play, behind his crib :)
