365 : WEEK 16

4/16/13 - What...doesn't everyone keep a potty seat in their car?!

4/17/13 - Karis and her buddy, Desmond during our weekly playgroup time.

4/18/13 - David and Carol Jahnke with Karis and Jenny at the Converge staff BBQ.  Steve and David work together for the International Ministries dept at Converge Worldwide.  David and Carol served as missionaries for years overseas and now serve stateside with Converge.  I have had the joy of working with David when I worked for Converge and have enjoyed getting to know Carol over the years.  They are an amazing couple and the Lord has and is using them in tremendous ways.  Definitely a couple to know if you ask me!  They spend part of their time down here working at the Orlando office and the other part of the year working from Minnesota. They just recently headed back up to the snowy northland...although I'm not sure why they want to go back there right now ;)

4/19/13 - I'm a coffee snob, I can admit it!  I don't necessarily have to have Starbucks brand, but the other day it was on sale and I like this flavor...so I got two.  I like a deal what can I say!

4/20/13 - Daddy has been out of town for part of the week, this was day three of him being gone {usually by day three of him being out of town I'm going a little crazy and have to find a reason to leave the house} So out running errands and look at their goofy faces!  Note: for all you who remember Karis falling out of the shopping cart, we don't take our chances and let her just sit in the big part anymore, but I can't always get a two seater cart so we get creative in how we strap her in.  She's strapped into her travel booster, which is then secured to the shopping cart.  Genius if you ask me and works if you only need a few things.  Now if you have to go full out shopping, you better not try this one because you'll have all sorts of fun items in the cart and possibly half of them opened and eaten ;)

4/21/13 - Usually we give them baths together, but Karis is going through a phase where she would prefer having the bath to herself {can you blame her really?} But little brother just so badly wants to be in there with sissy!

4/22/13 - Since hurting my hip, I don't get out and walk everyday like I used to.  I miss it though {and I miss walking with my friend Lyra and getting chatting time in with her}, but I have to not push myself too much.  I've started to get out lately {every few days} but just walk slower as to not aggravate the pain level.  Can you believe when I went for a walk the other day several people thought these two were twins?  I know they look similar, but the length of their legs alone should prove they are not twins, ha!
