365: Week SIX

2/5/13-Karis enjoying reading time with Grammy
2/6/13-Isaac's suspenders came in the mail this day and Karis was having fun trying them on

2/7/13-Big cousin Charlotte pulling the littler kiddos {Isaac and Eloise} around in the wagon while Karis runs along side. I'm convinced Charlotte could have done this for hours up and down the sidewalk, giving Grammy a nice workout while she followed!
 
2/8/13-Our yearly Valentine cards dropped off to be mailed

2/9/13-Steve's Grandma {better known as Gigi to our kiddos} and his great Aunt Edna come into town one weekend in February every year and we always enjoy seeing them. We enjoyed lots of playtime with them and the cousins during their visit here this weekend.
2/10/13-Isaac during his baby dedication at our church while Pastor Chris prays over him and our family. 
2/11/13 - Look what Isaac learned to climb. Actually before I snapped this picture when I caught him climbing on it, he was standing on it with a big grin on his face!

Adding to the Family!

Sitting down to write this blog post has been a long time coming (well at least 20 weeks or so!) But we are excited to announce that we are expecting our fourth child! Below, you will see some pictures highlighting parts of this pregnancy so far and also I talk about the name we have chosen for our little guy. Enjoy! I'm starting with this picture, because this little guy (left) pictured here with our son Isaac, I like to say is the reason we are having another baby, haha! Isaac has been smitten with this little one since he first held him as a baby two years ago and he began praying we would have another baby, specifically a boy! It's such a neat part of this story to me and I'm so thankful for our son's heart ( and friends who have cute kiddos!) This was taken right after we told the kids I was pregnant. Dear Grandma...

Today is my grandmother's birthday. This is a big deal. Today she celebrates 93 full and amazing years here on earth. My grandma is a special lady (more on that in a minute) and the only grandparent I ever knew (long story for another time). I often think it's amazing that my kids get to know all four of their grandparents, and we cherish the moments when we are all together. The past couple of years have been a bit up and down for my grandma in regard to her health and honestly I hate being across the world during this time and also a bit envious when my brothers and cousins get to visit her when they are able (so all y'all give her a hug when you see her next for me!) It's never easy being apart from family, but especially when one is ill. So I write, because it's what I can do...no she's not going to be on Facebook reading the link to our blog, but I know my mom will gladly call her and read this to her. Surprise Arrival!

This is a long post. But many of you have asked about the story of Milo's arrival. So I wanted to take time to write it out, details and all. But  for those who don't want to read the entire story with all the details, feel free to scroll through and just look at the pictures! A lot of you were shocked to hear of his arrival...so were we! (After all, we were still 25 days out from his due date when he made his appearance). I had just gone to my 36 week checkup two days prior, all was healthy and well with baby and with me and there were no signs of early labor. At that appointment, the doctor said that I was 1 cm dilated, but honesty I knew I could be at that for several weeks before seeing any progress to labor.
