365 : Week FOUR

1/22/13-My friend Amanda and her daughter, Audrey came over to work on preparing stuff for the baby shower we hosted later this week for my sister in law.  Karis LOVES Miss Amanda and baby Audrey {Karis pronounces her name baby Laudrey, it's cute!}

1/23/13-When weather permits, it is a must to spend at least an hour outside in the afternoon.  Isaac, being more mobile, doesn't just sit on the blanket anymore, rather he likes to explore {aka. eat grass!}

1/24/13-Karis dresses herself most days {sometimes let's me help her pick out a matching outfit-but most of the time picks out stuff that will match}  This day she insisted on wearing her leg warmers (which were worn on her arms at the first part of the day).  This is how she wanted to take her nap {shirt, undies, leg warmers}

1/25/13-I helped host a baby shower for my sister in law, Lauren, who is pregnant with twin boys.  We are excited to welcome some more boys into the family, our first nephews!  {in the picture are Lauren with the hostesses: Amanda Lent, Amanda Sands, Lauren, myself & Sadee

1/26/13-We have some new neighbors and have enjoyed getting to know their family.  Annie and Eli {who is pictured in center} moved here from Kentucky a few weeks back with their two little ones, Hannah {chasing Steve on the far left} and Lawson {playing next to Karis on right}.  They are sweet, new friends and we have enjoyed getting to know them.  Saturday morning we joined them for a pancake breakfast feast and played with kiddos outside in their backyard.  Isaac down front in the picture of course is eating the grass ;)  Fun fact about their kiddos, they are just about the same age apart as Karis and Isaac are, except a year older...it's fun for me to see what life will be like in a year with two tots!

1/27/13-Just the three of us!  This is how we roll at least two times out of each month when Steve travels for work {2-4 days at a time usually...however he's gone 5 days this particular trip}  We miss him when he's gone but are so very thankful for a husband/daddy who works hard to provide for his family.  Fun fact about today, Isaac is 11 months old today, and naturally I forgot to take any pictures of just my little man by himself!
1/28/13-Karis is a silly girl, but she doesn't usually act silly with accessories...However she has started to add just about anything to her hair or head these days {bows, clips, underwear}.  Today I asked her to go get dressed and when I realized it was taking her an extra long amount of time than usual, I knew something was up.  This is what I found when I went into her room, seriously made me laugh out loud!  She's so silly :)
